Job Title: Weekend Warrior (WW)
Department: Client Services
Responsible to: District Sales Manager
Average Work Week: 8-16 hours per week
Compensation: $16 per hour + incentives
Work Schedule:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday (4-6 hours per shift)
Summary
Epson has enlisted Campaigners to handpick a team of sales-focused Weekend Warriors (WW) to drive real, measurable sales growth of its imaging and projector products at select retail locations. Campaigners is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, passionate individuals who enjoy interacting with customers; promoting Epson’s exciting line of printing solutions and projectors.
A successful Weekend Warrior will take full ownership over their store, ensuring the following:
Epson is “Top of Mind” among customers
Epson product sales increase
Epson is “Top of Mind” among store associates
Epson products are on display, functioning properly and presentable to customers
Epson products are in stock
A successful, valuable visit will be defined as having each of these completed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Selling
Enthusiastically engage, qualify and close as many customers as possible on Epson products during your visit
Seek sales opportunities in multiple departments throughout the store during slower traffic periods to maximize sales
Promote Epson attachments to printer sales like ink and paper
Sales Associate Training
During slower traffic periods, train as many Sales Associates as possible during this event – you will have many opportunities to interact with the Sales Associates in this fun and casual environment. Show the price-performance value of Epson
Get Sales Associates comfortable recommending Epson to their customers when you are not present
Talk to them about the benefits of Epson
Generate positive PR and Brand Awareness in-store
In-store feedback – get customers, Sales Associates and Managers to reach out/email Campaigners corporate about Epson’s impact during the store visits
Distribute promotional material (provided) to store staff and explain the purpose
Retail Merchandising
Ensure products are on display, functioning properly
Work with store management to ensure adequate levels of in-store inventory
Ensure all point of purchase (POP) materials are placed properly and in full compliance with store’s planogram
Field Photos – take photos of happy new customers and newly trained Sales Associates
Field Intelligence
Find out what customers and sales associates are saying about Epson
What are competitors doing that Epson could do better in the stores
Behavioral Requirements
Results and action oriented – ownership minded
Proven retail sales/product demonstration experience
Professional demeanor and image compatible with the Epson’s brand and Campaigners
Acts as a strategic client advisor to store management to enhance retail relationships
Independent, self-motivated, and organized, while remaining flexible and adaptable
A high degree of people skills, ability to provide customer service and build influencing relationships with store staff and customers.
Outgoing, personable and enthusiastic
Responsive to phone and email communication.
Technical Requirements
Must be Internet savvy
24 hour/7 days a week computer and Internet (broadband preferred)
Must be able to complete online training/call reports
Reliable transportation: i.e. personal car for transportation to stores/events
General familiarity with imaging solutions and access to a digital camera are highly desirable
Legal Requirements
Valid State issued driver’s license.
Minimum level of legally acceptable automobile insurance coverage (if driving automobile for work)
Legal authority to work in the United States (US Citizen, Naturalized Citizen, work visa, etc).
Valid Social Security number
If requested, ability to pass drug-screen and background test
Dress Code Requirements
Name tag and branded Polo shirt provided
Khaki, navy, or black solid pants (must be professional: no cargo or denim pants)
Closed toed sturdy shoes (no open toed, sandals, or sneakers)
